Their journey with SITECH WA began in 2017, with the acquisition of a CAT 259D Compact Track Loader equipped with a Trimble GCS900 system, a setup still used to this day that continues to perform reliably.
“We’ve always wanted to separate ourselves from the competition and be at the forefront of the new technology on the market.” Director & Operator Carl said.
He continued, “We since broke into the Grader market in 2020 and almost straight away put your Trimble Earthworks system on it and have never looked back. We now own a Trimble Total Station and have grown in our capabilities massively thanks to this technology.”
Avon Valley Plant & Equipment used a 12m grader and a CAT 289D3 box grader equipped with Trimble GPS and UTS systems on a recent project in Konnongorring. Carl remarked, “the customer was very impressed with our work and accuracy and also were absolutely chuffed with the Box grader which we used to push out the railway ballast. The Trimble Technology kept it nice and clean and on perfect grade, and made it so much easier for the rail crew to build the rail on.”
